The Wayfinding Framework™

Educational Psychology Informed by Liminality

A structured process for navigating identity, transition, uncertainty, and growth.

What Is The Wayfinding Framework™?

The Wayfinding Framework™ is an Educational Psychology framework informed by liminality.

It was developed to help individuals navigate periods of uncertainty, transition, self-discovery, and change through a structured process of understanding, reflection, and intentional growth.

Many people seek support during times when life no longer feels clear. They may be navigating a new diagnosis, burnout, identity exploration, career changes, relationship transitions, major life decisions, or a growing sense that something needs to change but are unsure what comes next.

The Wayfinding Framework™ recognizes that these experiences are not signs of failure. They are often signs of transition.

Rather than focusing on quick fixes or predetermined solutions, the framework provides a structured process for making sense of complexity, developing greater self-understanding, identifying meaningful direction, and building confidence in navigating what comes next.

Who Is The Wayfinding Framework™ For?

The framework may be helpful for individuals who:

• Are navigating a significant life transition

• Feel stuck, uncertain, or overwhelmed

• Are exploring identity, values, or purpose

• Are processing a new diagnosis or developing a deeper understanding of neurodivergence

• Are experiencing burnout or questioning current priorities

• Want support making important personal, educational, or career decisions

• Are seeking greater self-understanding and confidence

• Want a structured process for navigating change

You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning.

Many people arrive precisely because they are seeking clarity.

What Makes The Wayfinding Framework™ Different?

The Wayfinding Framework™ is not therapy.

It is not life coaching.

It is not about fixing people.

The framework is grounded in Educational Psychology, neurodiversity-affirming practice, reflective inquiry, and human development.

Rather than telling people what they should do, the framework helps individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their experiences, their strengths, their needs, and the environments in which they live and work.

At the heart of the framework is a simple belief:

Understanding creates possibility.

When people better understand themselves, they are often able to make decisions with greater confidence, advocate more effectively, align their actions with their values, and navigate uncertainty with greater self-trust.

The consultant is not the compass.

The consultant helps individuals learn how to read their own compass.

Why I Created The Wayfinding Framework™

Throughout my work as an Educational Psychologist and Neurodivergent Consultant, I noticed a common pattern.

Many individuals were not looking for someone to tell them what to do.

They were looking for understanding.

They wanted clarity.

They wanted a way to make sense of their experiences, recognize patterns, understand their strengths and challenges, and determine what direction felt right for them.

Traditional models often focused on solving a problem.

What I repeatedly encountered were people standing at crossroads.

They were navigating questions of identity, belonging, burnout, transition, growth, and change.

They did not necessarily need answers.

They needed orientation.

The Wayfinding Framework™ emerged from that observation.

It was created to provide a structured process for helping people move from confusion toward understanding, from uncertainty toward direction, and from self-doubt toward greater self-trust.

Because meaningful growth rarely begins with knowing exactly where to go.

It often begins with understanding where you are.

Understanding creates possibility.

Why I Created The Wayfinding Framework™

As both a neurodivergent individual and an Educational Psychologist, I repeatedly observed the same challenge: many people were searching for answers, but what they truly needed was a way to navigate change.

Whether someone was exploring identity, adapting to a diagnosis, recovering from burnout, navigating a major life transition, or seeking greater clarity about what comes next, the process was rarely linear.

The Wayfinding Framework™ emerged from years of professional experience, educational psychology, and personal reflection. It provides a structured yet flexible process for making sense of complexity, identifying meaningful direction, and moving forward with intention.

Because understanding is not the end of the journey—it is the beginning.
